Your Query
I only accept queries through Query Manager's online form. If I'm closed, there will be a message stating this. If I'm open, please read the notice at the top of the form to make sure I am currently accepting queries for your age category and genre.
Please note that I can no longer answer every single query due to the large volume of queries I receive. If you would like to know why, you can find out more at the bottom of this page. If you receive an offer of representation or publication before I request the full manuscript, please still let me know about the offer so I can request or let you know that I'm passing.
If you withdraw your query for any reason, please let me know.
What You'll Need
For all submissions, I require your bio, notification of whether AI was used and how, your contact information, a jacket flap pitch, a synopsis, and a sample of the first ten pages of your project.
Helpful Information
It's always wonderful when authors let me know a little about why they were the perfect person to write this particular story. Anything about your connection to the subject matter helps me to know how this is formed from your own personal experience.

Why I Can No Longer Answer Every Query...
For a very long time, I tried to give personal feedback. When I no longer could do that (due to working more on client submissions and contracts and all the other things), I still tried to answer every single query.
During Covid, a lot more people began writing. With the advent of AI, people are writing faster, as well as churning out whole manuscripts using AI. Because of this, as well as more people wanting to query me because I'm a more seasoned agent now, I get around 4,000 queries per month. Sometimes 5,000. And I expect this to increase as time goes on, since that's been the pattern previously.
While I think it's very unfortunate that I can no longer sustainably answer every single query, I sincerely am sorry that this is the case.
